Client approached me to design a kitchen island for them. Looking for something vintage and warm to match their newly renovated kitchen, they wanted something that they could pull up a stool and eat at. Made from almost all black walnut, the breadboarded top provides a perfectly sized surface for prepping and serving food. The maple drawers are faced with continuous walnut grain allowing for the true beauty of this wood to come through without distraction.
